Wyolene Bivins

Wyolene Palmer Bivins, 91, of Moultrie, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Colquitt Senior Care & Rehabilitation.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. 

Born on Christmas Day in 1934, she was the daughter of the late Dan Palmer Sr. and Wyolene Palmer.

She worked for many years at McLean Engineering Company and The First Presbyterian Church of Moultrie.

Mrs. Bivins is survived by her sons, James M. Bivins and his wife Lisa, and David P. Bivins and his wife Katrina; her grandchildren, Emily Adams and her husband Carter, Ashley Lawrence and her husband Cecil, Skyla M. Bivins, and Cheyenne G. Bivins; her great-grandchildren, Anna Lawrence, Cager Lawrence, Lanier Lawrence, Blake Adams, and Charlie Adams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Bivins II; her son, Frank J. Bivins III; and her siblings, Dan B. Palmer and his wife Virginia, Hartley Palmer, Ellen Taylor and her husband Dick, Lucille Bostick and her husband Joe Sr., and Joe M. Palmer and his wife Jean.
