William B. Lindsey

William B. Lindsey, 86 of Norman Park, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 12, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Lennon Howell and Rev. Wayne Smith officiating. Born March 24, 1938, in Norman Park. He was the son of the late Charlie Lindsey, Sr., and Mary Norton Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Lee Lindsey, son-in-law, Terry L. Tillman, brothers, Charlie Lindsey, Jr., and James (Tad) Lindsey. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maxine Weeks Lindsey, daughter, Robin Tillman, and son, Todd Lindsey. Granddaughters include Lindsey Tillman, Heather King (Caleb), and Hannah Tillman. Great-granddaughters include Blair Tillman, Liza Jones, and Ryder King.
He was of Christian faith and loved the Lord. He and his wife attended Ellenton Baptist church. He was a retired farmer and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He taught all his granddaughters how to work on the farm. He was well known for his witty sense of humor and his memory will live on through all the wonderful stories everyone has to share.
