William Van Holton

William Van Holton, 71, of Norman Park, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky McLaughlin and Mack Paige officiating. Interment will follow at Cool Springs-Doerun cemetery. Mac Walters, Dalton Johnson, Cody Johnson, Lynn Johnson, Dewayne Harris, and Richard Adams will serve as pallbearers. Tommy Vickers, Wayne Lewis, Kyson Johnson, Kaisen Johnson, Lloyd Hines, Steve Hurst, and Arnulfo Espinoza Rivera will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Born on October 15, 1952, in Norman Park, Georgia, he was the son of the late Bryant Holton and Betty Jean Holton Nelson. He was a truck driver for Davis Equipment Company and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, William V. “Little Bill” Holton II, and Jason Bryant “Jaybug” Holton; and sister, Theresa “T.J” Johnson.
Mr. Holton is survived by his wife, Anita Virginia Combee Holton of Norman Park; daughters, Kim Ann Espinoza Rivera and husband Arnulfo of Cordele, and Amanda J. Holton of Pearson; sisters, Lucille Holton Page of Alberta, and Nita Holton Hunt of Ochlocknee; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
