Willard Talley Walker,78, of Barwick, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, at his home.
Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Rosewood Cemetery in Barwick with Rev. Mitch Kitchens officiating.
Born on May 11, 1945, in Hahira, Georgia, he was the son of the late Joseph Benjamin Walker and Valeria Williams Walker. He served in the United States Army. He was a truck driver for Broadleaf Trucking Company and was of the Christian Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Walker; sister, Carmen Osborn; and one grandchild.
Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Tinsley Walker of Barwick; sons, Kevin Walker and wife Chelle of Forsyth, and Billy Owens of Tennessee; daughters, Manda Walker of Thomasville, Lynn Gillette and husband Bill of Barwick, Llewellyn Danforth and Brady Finney, III of Hahira, and Ashley Valeria Spradley of Valdosta; brother, Millard Walker of Nashville, Georgia; sisters, Vidette Plymel of Tallahassee, Florida, and Paulette Martin and husband Steve of Lakeland, Florida; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
