Virginia White

Virginia Allen White, 98, of Funston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Colquitt Senior Care.
Born on October 16, 1925, in Funston, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John Garner Allen and Pennie Wiggins Allen. Mrs. White worked for the Colquitt County School System and was the secretary for J.E. Ladson Farms. She was a member of First Baptist Church Moultrie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivey Anderson White; daughter, Judy Elizabeth White; brothers, Lester Allen, and Glenn Allen; and sister Helen Pearson.
Mrs. White is survived by her daughters, Patricia Holland and husband Herman of Funston; Penny Parker and husband Jerry of Funston; grandchildren, Andy Brinkley and wife Tasha, Jenny Lee Conger and husband Clay, and Maggie Jo Tucker and husband Vick; and great-grandchildren, Hunter Brinkley, Logan Brinkley, Jonah Brinkley, Ivey Conger, Scout Conger, Spencer Tucker, Charlie Tucker, and Luke Tucker.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Colquitt County Humane Society 1412 1st St NE, Moultrie, GA 31768.
There will be no formal services held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
