Born on September 26, 1978, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of Bobby Mitchell Alderman and Sallie Kay Croft Alderman. Tramese was all glitter and gold, sunshine and sparkles. She had a smile that lit up a room when she walked in and from the time she could talk, she never met a stranger. You could always count on her to bring light and laughter to a conversation and find the humor in any situation.
Over her life she had faced trials and overcome adversities that others would have crumbled under. She faced them with strength, poise, grace and always style. She was one of the most radiant steel magnolias in our garden.
Tramese loved her family fiercely and was a devoted mother to her girls and wife to her husband. They were her world. She was a devoted daughter and sister to her brothers.
She also loved her friends and they could always count on her to be there when they needed it most or there to lend a sympathetic ear.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George Croft and Sallie Nerine Dampier Croft and Dalton Alderman and Lillie Mae Alderman; and uncles, Sam Croft and Reggie Alderman; and aunts, Barbara Barnes and Elizabeth Taylor.
In addition to her parents, Bobby Alderman and Sallie Kay Alderman of Berlin, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jeremy Merritt of Moultrie; two daughters, Raley Grace Merritt and Joslyn Faith Merritt; brothers, Trampas Alderman and wife Della of Tallahassee and Taran Alderman and fiancée Lauren of Stone Mountain; nieces and nephews, Dalton Alderman, David Wempla, Kivrin Alderman, Teghan Alderman, Colson Smith and Cody Smith; uncle, Richard and Carol Alderman; aunt, Janie and Steve Mercer; mother-and father-in-law, Jackie and Jeanie Merritt; sister-in-law, Jessica and Christopher Smith; and brother-in-law, Alex and Ansley Merritt; and a host of friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Scottish Rite of Georgia P.O. Box 201 Orchard Hill, Georgia 30266.
