Tommy Lewis Vickers

Tommy Lewis Vickers, 85, of Ellenton, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Buck Creek Baptist Church.
Born on June 23, 1937, in Ellenton, Georgia, he was the son of the late Minnis Lee Vickers and Eloise Adams Vickers. Mr. Vickers was a retired farmer and was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lee Vickers.
Mr. Vickers is survived by his wife, Wanda Savage Vickers of Ellenton; daughter, LeAnna Linsky and husband Sam of Studio City, California; grandson, Wit Linsky; and sister-in-law, Eula Vickers of Moultrie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to either of the following causes very special to Tommy: NEC (Necrotizing Enterocolitis) Society; 140 B Street; Suite 5 #128; Davis CA 95616. This disease is a devasting intestinal infection that claims many premature babies; Tommy's grandson Wit developed this potentially fatal disease while in the NICU.
