Thomas Jerry Watts

Thomas Jerry Watts, 68, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 22, 2022, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Javier Martinez, Jorge Martinez, Frank Yeso, John Gray, Hunter Dauphin and Thomas Williams will serve as pallbearers. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery in Norman Park, Georgia.
Born on November 18, 1953 in Bowdon, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Thomas Watts and Nell Burtis Allen Watts. He was a supervisor for Pike Creek Turf in Adel and was a member of Life Spring Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Faye Watts; daughter, Katrina Darlene Resendez; brothers, Daniel Floyd Watts, James Parvin Watts, and Thomas Marvin Watts; sisters, Sara Nell Lopez, Jo Ann Dorman, and Dorothy Taft; grandchildren, Sandra Resendez and Juan Carlos Resendez; great-grandchild, Gabriel Hancock.
Mr. Watts is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Faye Pena and husband Guadelupe of Ellenton, and Sherri Amanda Watts of Funston; grandchildren, Javier Martinez and wife Katlyn Ann of Moultrie, Shannon Hancock of Ohio, Jorge Martinez of Norman Park, Monica Gray and Husband John of Moultrie, Brandon Pena of Moultrie, Jasmine Pena of Moultrie, Adrian Pena of Ellenton, Jose Guadelupe Pena of Moultrie, Maria Yeso of Camilla, Desiree Yeso of Moultrie, and Frank Yeso of Moultrie; great-grandchildren, Ivory Jean Martinez, Katrina Hancock, Amedeous Hancock, Enoch Hancock, Noah Gray, Luke Gray, Jonah Gray, Noah Pena, Judith Pena, Michelle Pena, Nevaeh Martin, Isaiah Martin, Sebastian Lofton, Valencia Lofton and baby Lofton due in December; sisters, Joyce Hunnicutt and husband Michael of Moultrie, Mary Norman of Moultrie, and Shirley Ann Watts Conger and husband Bruce of Nashville, GA.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 5 pm – 7 pm in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
