Thomas Rayford “Ray” Hall, 74, of Moultrie, passed away at Colquitt Regional Medical Center on Thursday, September 12, 2024.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, with Reverend Julian Griner officiating. Brian Hall, Lewis Stephens, Darby Hall, Jerome Clark, and Michael Monk will all serve as pallbearers. Darrell Yoder, David Stump, Larry Franklin, Kirk Demott, Jamie Demott, and any other contractor who served with Mr. Hall will be honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends and family one hour before the service in the funeral home chapel.
Born on February 6, 1950, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late William Arnold Hall and Earline Jacobs Hall. Ray Hall was a beloved craftsman and dedicated family man who was the proud owner of Ray Hall Custom Cabinets, a business he cherished and nurtured for 54 years. His remarkable skill in carpentry and his unwavering commitment to quality earned him the respect and admiration of his clients and peers.
Ray's passion for woodworking was evident in every piece he created. His meticulous attention to detail and innovative designs turned countless houses into homes, leaving a lasting legacy through his work. Beyond his professional achievements, Ray's greatest joy came from his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose love and guidance shaped the lives of those closest to him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Hall, Sr., and Wendall Hall; sisters, Judy Hall Annis and Opal Earline Dotterweich; and nephew, Eric Hall.
Mr. Ray Hall is survived by his loving and cherished wife, Shirley Jane Kinchen Hall of Moultrie; children, Jamie Hall of Moultrie, Tammy Hall Stephens and husband Lewis of Lenox, and Amanda Hall, of Moultrie; his beloved grandson, Brian Hall of Moultrie; his great-grandchildren, Jaelyn Hall and Colton Hall; brother, Joe Hall and wife Jenice of Coolidge; furbabies, “Peanut” and “Rug Rat”; and several nieces and nephews.
