Terry Eugene Meads, 71, of Moultrie, died Friday, August 21, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Clingan officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Born on September 12, 1954, in Quitman, Georgia, he was the son of Annette Stanfill Meads and the late Eugene Talmadge Meads. Mr. Terry Meads was a devoted husband, father, family man, and hardworking businessman whose life was centered around the people and things he loved most.
Throughout his working years, Mr. Meads built a career in the trucking industry. He worked faithfully for Ryder Truck Rental for 21 years before taking the step of becoming a business owner. In 1997, he founded Meads Trucking, where his strong work ethic, determination, and knowledge of the trucking industry served him well.
When he wasn't working, Terry enjoyed many hobbies. He was an avid fisherman who loved spending time on the water and also enjoyed firing up the grill and cooking for family and friends. He was a car and gun enthusiast and took great interest in both throughout the years. Terry was also a proud and dedicated supporter of the Colquitt County High School Packers and enjoyed cheering on the Pack.
As much as Terry enjoyed his work and hobbies, nothing compared to the love he had for his family. His greatest joy was found in his two sons and their families, and he treasured the time he was able to spend with them.
Above all, Terry shared his life with his beloved wife, Connie D. Hamilton Meads. For 52 years of marriage, Connie remained the love of his life and his faithful companion through the many seasons they shared together. Their marriage, family, and the life they built side by side were among Terry's greatest blessings.
In addition to his mother, Annette Stanfill Meads of Norman Park, Terry is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Connie D. Hamilton Meads; sons, Shannon Meads and wife Heather and Jeremy Meads and wife Erin; grandchildren, Tyler Meads and fiancée Claire Whitfield, Shelby Meads, Michael Meads, Cassidy Meads, Eli Meads and fiancée Langley and Emma Meads; great-granddaughter, Paisley Evans; brothers, Larry Meads, Gordon Meads and wife Dorothy, Joey Meads and wife Virginia, and Junior Meads; sisters, Janie Solorio and husband Salvador, Teresa Lopez and husband Miguel, and Jennifer Hernandez and husband Chavz; and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
