Terrell Lewis Stallings

Terrell Lewis Stallings, 62, died peacefully at his home on June 28, 2026.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 2, 2026, in the chapel at Baker Funeral Home, with Reverend Julian Griner officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home.

Born April 4, 1964, in Moultrie, GA, he was the son of the late Lonnie Herbert Stallings and Leila Chesnutt Stallings. He was a member of the CCHS Class of 1982. Terrell grew up with a love for the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, and boating on Lake Seminole. He was an avid NASCAR fan, but any kind of racing competition would have him rooting for his favorite.

He had a keen interest in agriculture and, in later years, after moving from town to a farm near Berlin, worked closely with his family in horticulture. He assisted his mother and sister, Rebecca, at her garden center and floral gift shop, The LeafMakers. His family’s horticultural endeavors expanded with the addition of solar greenhouses at the farm, providing blooming plants and natural potting soils for The LeafMakers, and Terrell embraced this new venture.

Terrell extended his talents to landscaping and made it his business to know how to “fix things,” whether automotive, electrical, or mechanical. If you needed help, he was always there to offer his time and talent.

Terrell loved his family and enjoyed nothing more than having everyone together for the holidays. He could fry a turkey like nobody’s business. His relationship with God was that of quiet faith, a faith that sustained him through some serious health issues.

Terrell is survived by his daughter, Rachel Caywood and husband, Will, of Fayetteville, NC; his brother, Ben Stallings; sisters, Rebecca Stallings and Lisa Stallings Bowling and husband, Gary, all of Moultrie; a special cousin, Jim VanNada; his former wife, Robbie McCants Stallings; his four-legged companion and best bud, Cooper; his uncle, Bill Chesnutt and wife, Jackie, of Monroe, NC; aunts, Annie Maxwell of Sylvester, GA, Jan Gates of San Antonio, TX, and Betty Roerk and husband Paul of Plattsmouth, NE; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins across the country.
