Teresa Leija

Teresa Lynn “TT” Taylor Leija, 62 of Lenox, Ga, died Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in the Chapel at Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Born on July 2, 1959, in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late James Martin Taylor and Maggie Ruth McPeek Taylor. She was a private duty nurse and was of the Christian faith. The family remembers her as the worlds greatest cook. She loved gardening and was the matriarch of the family, “the heart and rock”.
In additional to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Taylor, Dennis Taylor, and Timothy Taylor; and sister, Belinda Taylor.
Ms. Leija is survived by her sons, Juan Leija, Jr. and Miguel Leija of Moultrie, Ga; daugthers, Belinda Hernandez of Lenox, Ga, Barbara Garcia and husband Mario of Norman Park, Ga, and Kristen Hepner of Lantana, Fl; brothers, Billy Taylor and wife Deana of Berlin, Ga and Robert Taylor of Norman Park, Ga; sisters, Paula Walsh of North Ga and Barbara Garcia and husband Mario of Norman Park, Ga; grandchildren, Maggie Leija, Hanna Leija, Shyanna Corman, Felipe Garcia, Shawn Garcia, Rosie Garcia, Brinsey Valencia, and Seyanna Valencia; great-grandchildren, Lennox Garcia; special niece, Lisa Marie Valencia, nieces and nephews, Brandon Pope, April Pope, Amanda Taylor, Rebecca Mull, Elizabeth Taylor, Johnny Walsh, Brittany Taylor, Robbie Taylor, Denise Taylor, and Kyle Hepner; great nephew, Ryleigh Taylor and many more.
