Sybil Louise Fordham Yates, 84, of Moultrie, died Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Legacy Village.
A memorial service will be held 11:00am on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Rev. Ricky Mclaughlin officiating.
Born on March 19, 1936 in Thomaston, Georgia. she was the daughter of the late Grady Fordham and Rosa Mae Smith Fordham Chappel. She was retired from Riverside Manufacturing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Yates; daughter, Denise Blanks; and a sister, Juanita Phillips.
Mrs. Yates is survived by her son, Joey Yates and wife Lisa of Wimauma, Florida; daughters, Kristy DeMott and husband Terry of Norman Park, and Pam Upchurch and husband David of Stilson, Georgia; sister, Sherrill Hull of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Brandon Combs and wife Jessica, Dustin Combs and wife Dianna, Laura Brannen and husband Kent, Phil Roesel and wife Elisha, Michael Roesel, Bo Stallings and husband Jon, Emily DeMott, and Tyler DeMott; and great grandchildren, Hunter and Tinzley Combs, John Kent and Katie Brannen, River and Asher Roesel, and Jon Thomas and Ella Stallings.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
