Steven Leo Krejci

Steven Leo Krejci, 70, of Houston, passed away April 26th. He was born on December 18th, 1954, in Houston, Texas, to the late Joseph John Krejci and Mary Anne (Beyer) Krejci.

A visitation will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Moultrie, in the Ellen Vereen Parlor, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Steve graduated from St Thomas High School, where he made lifelong friendships. He attended the University of Houston. A friend talked him into a job at Gray Tool Company, where he worked for 30 years as it changed from ABB Vetco Gray to ABB. He worked the Kuwait Oil Fires, which initiated an overseas career with ABB and Drill Quip. Traveling to every continent and living on 5 different continents, Steve had many great adventures on the golf course, fishing and hunting. Steve and Betty were married for 47 years.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Krejci; son and daughter-in-law, Drew (Megan) Krejci; son and daughter-in-law, Gene (Dawson) Krejci; granddaughter, Stella Krejci; grandson, Sam Krejci; grandson, Gus Krejci; granddaughter, Abby Krejci; and granddaughter, Ana Krejci. Steve had 3 brothers, John Krejci, Michael Krejci and Ricky Krejci and 2 sisters, Jeanetta Hebert (Gary James) and Marietta Krejci. He has 6 nieces and 5 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
