Shirley Ann Burgess Martinez, 69, of Moultrie, Georgia, died Friday, March 31, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service for Mrs. Martinez will be held at a later date.
Born on September 21, 1953, in Glasgow, Montana, she was the daughter of the late Edward O. Burgess, Jr. and Naomi Rae Spangler Burgess. Mrs. Martinez was a daycare director and was of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband, Robert Luis Martinez of Moultrie; children, Cherise O’Hagan of Ireland, Andrea Jeanne Murray, and Allyssa Joanne Estes of Moultrie; brother, Edward Burgess, III of Sanford, NC.; sister, Lori Rowe and husband Cary of Woodhaven, Michigan; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 nephews, and 1 niece.
Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
