Sherry Jean Luke

Sherry Jean Luke, 70, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Bozarth and Rev. Corey Shiver officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Wayne Hodnett, Frankie Hodnett, Kellen Hodnett, Nicholas Speck, Brandon Folsom, Shawn Castleberry, Rodney Bell, and Brandon Bozarth will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM.
 Born on April 8, 1954, in Adel, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert Castleberry and Miriam Watson Castleberry. Mrs. Luke was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Luke; brothers, Roy Castleberry, Cleveland Castleberry, and Bobby Castleberry; and sister, Vera Mae Rogers.
 Mrs. Luke is survived by her son, Rodney Bell and wife Elizabeth; daughter, Cynthia Bozarth and husband Barry; grandchildren, Bailey Bozarth, Brandon Bozarth and wife Hannah, Braelyn Bozarth, Brooklyn Bozarth, and Mistee Bell; brother, Jackie Castleberry and wife Sarah; and sisters, Lois Folsom, and Carrie Hodnett.
