Sheila Kelly, 67, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.
Born on January 20, 1957, in Dothan, Alabama, Sheila was the daughter of the late Milton Davis and Betty Hall Davis McAdams. Sheila was known for her dedication and passion for her work. Graduating from Graceville High School in 1975, she went on to pursue a career in dental hygiene, graduating from Gulfcoast Community College in 1977. Throughout her career, Sheila held the esteemed position of vice president at Dental Partner Group, where her expertise and caring nature benefitted countless patients and colleagues. Her commitment to her profession was unmatched. Those who knew Sheila understood her profound love for the sea, as she found solace and joy through boating and sailing. Her eyes would light up at the sight of antique shops, indulging in her passion for discovering hidden gems and treasures. Sheila's skills in the kitchen were unparalleled as she delighted in cooking for others, always ensuring everyone around her was well-fed and happy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Davis and sister-in-law, Marty Davis.
Sheila's legacy lives on in the memories of her sister Cheryl Creel and husband Charlie of Moultrie; brother, Gary Davis and wife Candy of Fruitland Park, Florida; husband, Mike Kelly of Cary, NC; nieces and nephews, Katy Rodriguez and husband Tommy, Hillary Taylor and husband Steadman, and Dustin Davis; and great nieces and great nephews, Lainey Davis, Brentley Davis, Alice Rodriguez, Davis Rodriguez, and Finleigh Taylor, and her furbaby, Oliver.
Funeral services and ceremonies to honor Sheila's life will be held at a later date, providing an opportunity for friends and community members to come together and celebrate her life. Sheila will be remembered for her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to those around her.
