Ruth Anne Davis DeMott

Ruth Ann Davis DeMott, 82, of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

 A private family service will be held at a later date.

 Born November 11, 1941, in Norman Park, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Jeffie Lee Davis and Myrtis Mauldin Davis. Mrs. DeMott was the bookkeeper at DeMott Tractor Company for over 30 years and was of the Christian faith. 

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy W. DeMott, Sr.; son, Jimmie W. DeMott, Jr. and wife Anna; brothers, Jeffie Lenward Davis, Gene Davis, Jerry Davis, Terry Davis, Jimmie Lee Davis, and Bobby Davis; sisters, Thelma Brack and Jane Davis. 

Mrs. DeMott is survived by her sons, Jeff DeMott and Tony DeMott both of Moultrie; grandchildren, Anthony Flowers, Russ Flowers, and family; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
