Ronald Cranford Dempsey, 79, of Norman Park, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
Born on June 23, 1940, in Coolidge, Georgia, he was the son of the late Vernon Dempsey and Doris Murphy Dempsey. He worked with Publix Super Market as a Publix Truck Driver where he retired with over 30 years of dedicated service and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Teresa "Teri" Dempsey and Debbie Dempsey; and brother, Jerry Wayne Dempsey.
He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Green Dempsey of Norman Park; daughter, Michelle Leigh Dempsey of Norman Park; grandchildren, Brittney Horne, Sheree Hamilton and husband Anthony, Miranda Davis, and Elizabeth "Becky" Giddeons; great grandchildren, Autumn Bayya, Edward Hamilton, Rayland DeMott, and Asa Giddeons; sisters, Shirley Dempsey Fender of Ellenton and Brenda Dempsey Haralson of Sylvester; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Social Hall Renovation Fund/ Building Fund, 126 Mt. Olive Church Rd. Moultrie, Georgia 31788
