Robert "Bob" McNeil Rice

Robert “Bob” McNeil Rice, 80, of Perry, died Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Summerhill Senior Living Community in Perry, Georgia.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Friday, July 24, 2026, at Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery at 10:00 am with Reverend Julian Griner officiating.

Born on October 28, 1945, in Blakely, Georgia, he was the son of the late Robert Rice and Eunice Lewis Rice. Mr. Rice was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving his country honorably for more than 20 years. Following his military career, he dedicated over 20 years as a pharmacist at the Medical Center of Macon, where he faithfully cared for countless patients and earned the respect of his colleagues.

He enjoyed traveling, exploring new places, and creating lasting memories with those he loved most. Above all, Mr. Rice cherished spending time with his family, whose love and companionship brought him great joy throughout his life. His legacy of service, compassion, and devotion to family will be remembered by all who knew him.

Mr. Rice is survived by his wife, Jackie Jackson Rice; son, Robert McNeil Rice II of Long Beach, California; special daughter, Amanda Suzanne Rice of Perry, Georgia; sister, Barbara Rice Langston, niece, Andria Langston of Perry, Georgia; special friends, Stan and Beverly Caudill and Glenda Turner of Warner Robins, Georgia.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
