Robert Stanley Barden

Robert Stanley Barden, 71, of Moultrie, died on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on November 28, 2025, at Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery. A coffee reception will follow the service at home of Brandy Sulewski, 3209 Tallokas Road, Moultrie, Georgia 31788.

Born on January 18, 1954, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late John Wesley Barden and Elizabeth Thomas Barden Glass. After his father’s passing, he was lovingly raised by Jack Glass. He loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed reading in his quiet moments. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Fern.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Jackie Barden.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Bentley and husband Jason and Brandy Sulewski and husband Donald “Ski”; grandchildren, Gavin Sulewski and Gareth Sulewski; brothers, Darrell Barden and wife Judy and Kenneth Glass and wife Penny; sisters, Vickie McMurphy and husband Mack and Cathy Bryant and husband Charles; and several nieces and nephews.
