Ricky Truelove

Ricky Lee Truelove, 66, of Moultrie, died Sunday, October 5, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Shannon Partain officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Church Cemetery. Christian Truelove, Cameron Truelove, Jacob Truelove, Braxton Truelove, Jeffery Lee Johnson, and Shane Crawford will all serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Born on August 17, 1959, in Sylvester, Georgia, he was the son of the late Lee Miller and Janice Hester Miller. Ricky was a devoted family man whose greatest joy in life came from the time he spent with those he loved most. Known for his warm heart and easy smile, he never missed an opportunity to show his care and devotion to his family and friends.

He was also an avid outdoorsman who found peace and fulfillment in nature. Whether hunting in the woods or casting a line on the water, Ricky cherished every moment spent in the great outdoors. His passion for hunting and fishing was matched only by the stories and memories he shared from those adventures.

Ricky will be remembered for his love of family, his appreciation for the outdoors, and the lasting friendships he created along life’s journey. He was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Truelove.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sherry Jarvis Truelove of Moultrie; son, Corey Truelove of Moultrie; daughter, Amy Truelove of Moultrie; grandchildren, Christian Truelove, Cameron Truelove, Jacob Truelove, Braxton Truelove, Jayanna Truelove, Emily Truelove, Jeffery Johnson, Cheyanna Johnson, Tristian Arrington, and Jasmine Johnson; great grandchildren, Aubrey Truelove and Ashton Johnson; brothers, Michael Truelove and wife Wanda, Gary Truelove, Mark Truelove and wife Wanda, and Keith Truelove; and sisters, Latricia Truelove and Alicia Spangler and husband Justin; and many other extended family members.
