Retha Mae Odom

Retha Mae Lamb Odom, 79, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky McLaughlin and Bro. Blake Boutwell officiating. She will be laid to rest at Baker/ Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Moultrie, Georgia. Justin Hodnett, Josh Hodnett, Stevie Sheffield, Chuck Odom, Jonathan Morris, Chris Griffin and Jerry Williams will serve as pallbearers.
Born on November 22, 1942, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Hulon L. Lamb and Irene Wright Lamb. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and attended Moultrie Church of God. Mrs. Odom was a retired pastor’s wife and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her son, Teddy “Ted” Leon Odom; daughter, Retha Rebakah “Becky” Lay; brothers, Bobby Lamb, Larry Lamb, and Jack Lamb. Great-granddaughter, Isabella Hodnett; Sisters,Jane Paler, and Francies Zimmerman; and a son-in-law, Michael Hodnett.
Mrs. Odom is survived by her husband, Charlie Odom, Jr. of 62 years of Moultrie; daughters, Lisa Sheffield and husband Steve of Moultrie, Mary Brady and husband Jeff of Moultrie, and Donna Hodnett of Moultrie; grandchildren, Chuck Odom and wife Anna, Lana Odom Morris and husband Jonathan, Kristi Griffin and husband Chris, Nicole Pearson and husband Johnathan, Kayla Burns and boyfriend Mike, Justin Hodnett and wife Becca Jo, Donna Lee Hodnett, Stevie Sheffield and wife Kristal, Josh Hodnett and wife Summer, Stephanie Sheffield, Jada Hodnett, Manny Hodnett, Levi Hodnett, and Tiffany Cook; great-grandkids, Chaz Odom, Cade Odom, Corbyn Odom, Sarah Morris, Alyssa Morris, Nora Morris, Everly Morris, Logan Griffin, Sadie-Grace Griffin, Levi Burns, Kristie Hodnett, Emma Hodnett, Madilyn Mims, Brynleigh Young, Amber Cook, Baileigh Cook, and Ty Cook; brothers, Grady Lamb and wife Pat of Moultrie, Brady Lamb of Camilla, Tommy Lamb and wife Lula of Doerun, Rex Lamb of Hartsfield, and Curtis Lamb of Moultrie.
