Rebecca "Becky" Clark Perry

Rebecca "Becky" Clark Perry passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. No formal service is planned at this time.

Becky was born on October 21, 1945, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late J.W. "Buddy" Clark and Lois Beaty Clark. She loved pets and animals and adopted or raised every kind of pet you can imagine- dogs, cats, fish, chickens, skunks, raccoons, a fox, ferrets, guinea pigs, cows, horses, donkeys, and many more. She bred guinea pigs, Persian cats, and all kinds of dogs, but she was most passionate about breeding and raising English bulldogs and was the official breeder of the UGA mascots, Uga VI-XI. She loved flowers and gardening and the outdoors and was loved by children of all ages. Spending time with Becky was always an adventure, and a stop at her house for Moultrie kids and her extended family was considered a normal rite of passage. She was passionate about faith and shared the gospel of Jesus proudly. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Schley Louis "Louie" Perry Jr.; her daughter, Amanda Perry; and her brother, Jim Clark. 

Becky is survived by children Laura Perry Johnson and husband Scott, Schley Louis "Louie" Perry III and wife Lisa, and Jonathan Perry and wife Jackie; grandchildren, Bill Johnson and wife Griffin, Libba Johnson, Jack Perry, Alex Perry, Zach Bailey and Alli Perry; sister, Barbara Mansfield and husband Leck; and brother, Leslie Clark and wife Annette, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
