Randy Saturday

Robert Randall “Randy” Saturday, 62, of Moultrie, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. James Pendell, Rev. Walter Mingledorff, and Rev. Ike Branch officiating. A private family burial will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home from 5 pm until 8 pm.
Born on February 17, 1959, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Willie Saturday, Jr. and Hilda Kent Saturday. After graduating high school, he furthered his education at Valdosta State University where he earned a BBA in Business Finance. He was a former manager of First Franklin Financial, but for several decades Mr. Saturday was an admired educator at Willie J. Williams Middle School. He was also a devoted member of The First Church of Nazarene where he served as the Minister of Music since the 1980s.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Wimberly Saturday; and brothers, Kenneth M. Saturday and David Saturday.
Mr. Saturday is survived by his daughter Kimberly Saturday( Kameron) of Moultrie; brother in law, Larry Wimberly (Lavonia) of Moultrie; sister in law, Vickie Riddle of Valdosta; niece, Lisa Wimberly Croom (Barry); and nephews, Kevin Wimberly, Chris Saturday (Emily), Ben Saturday (Sonya); great-nieces and nephews, Katie Wimberly (Pedro), Carrie Grace Wimberly, Will Harrison, Kara Beth Saturday, Kaitlyn Poag, Isabelle Poag, and Skyler Saturday; great-great-nephew, Beckham Luna; and special friend, Justin Sullins (Tavi).
