Randall "Randy" Lee Freeman

Randy Freeman, 67, of Moultrie, died on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 3:00 pm at New Elm Baptist Church in Moultrie. Interment will follow at New Elm Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at New Elm Baptist Church.

Born on May 29, 1959, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late John Donald Freeman and Nancy Jane Davis Freeman.

Randy retired as a logistics technician coordinator at Cooper Tire in Albany and was a member of New Elm Baptist Church. He was a man who enjoyed reading and knew the bible.

Above all, Randy cherished his family. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed making memories with them. He also loved being outdoors, whether he was hunting or fishing. These simple things brought him great enjoyment and gave him time to relax and enjoy the things he loved.

Randy had a few things he was particular about, and one of them was his choice of vehicles. He was a Ford man through and through—if it didn’t have a Ford emblem, Randy wasn’t interested. It was part of what made Randy uniquely himself.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Freeman, and his grandson, E.J. Freeman.

He is survived by his sons, Eric Freeman and wife Amber, and Ryan Freeman, all of Moultrie; grandchildren, Hailyn Freeman, R.J. Freeman, Scott Lewis, Autumn Lewis, Joshua Lewis and Kyndall Freeman; brothers, Royce Freeman, Stevie Freeman and wife Angie, and Jamie Freeman; and several nieces and nephews.

Family asks that you come in flip-flops to honor Randy.
