Paul Poole

Paul Poole, 74, of La Vernia, Texas, died on Sunday, November 23, 2025.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Wright’s Chapel Cemetery in Sumner, Georgia.

Born on February 14, 1951, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Paul W. Poole Sr. and Lillie Mae Poole.

After retiring from the business-finance industry, he spent much of his time on the golf course, pursuing the game he loved.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his nephews, Whiley Poole, Timber Poole, and Dale Poole.

Mr. Poole is survived by his sweetheart of twenty years, Brenda Peters; son, Paul Poole III and wife Brittany of San Antonio, Texas; daughters, Shannon Sellers and husband Don of Thomasville, Lisa Wiedenfeld and husband Jeff, Krystal Perry and husband Chris, Ashley Ponce and husband Christopher all of San Antonio, Texas, and Tabitha Kimoto of South Carolina; grandchildren, Devin Gay and wife Trina, Kaitlyn Poole, Dustin Poole, Kyle Poole, Hunter Poole, Remington Poole, Cooper Poole, Hailey Wiedenfeld, Carter Wiedenfeld, Bruce Ponce, Oliver Ponce and Lilly Perry; great-grandchildren, Adalynn Gay and Braelynn Gay; brother, Al Poole.
