Paul Hester

Paul Theophilus “PT” Hester, 82, of Leesburg, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at his home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Mark Roberts, Todd Hester, Cody McMullen, and Blake McMullen will serve as pallbearers.
Born on March 5, 1941, in Pavo, GA, he was the son of the late James Madison Hester and Ruby Odom Hester. He was a truck driver with Transit Freight Co.; where he retired after 29 years and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John David Hester, Sr., and James Edward Hester.
Mr. Hester is survived by his son, Paul Todd Hester of Leesburg; daughter, Paula Ann Hester Roberts and husband Mark of Boston; sisters, Shirley Hester Lujan of Guam, Myra Hester Hall of Ray City and Diane Hester Spell of Hahira; grandchild, Chelsea McMullen and husband Cody of Boston; great-grandchildren, Blake McMullen and Madison McMullen; and the mother of his children, Lavada Ann Hester.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
