Patrick McClellan Mobley

Patrick McClellan Mobley, 33, of Moultrie, passed away at his home on Monday, April 1, 2024.
Born on December 23rd, 1990 in Moultrie, Georgia. He was the son of Patrick and Farolyn Mobley. McClellan graduated from Colquitt County High School. While in high school, McClellan played baseball for the Packers and he was a member of Key Club. McClellan was very active in the youth group of Trinity Baptist church. He attended Valdosta State University before he came back to Moultrie to join his family in business. This is when he reconnected with the love of his life and absolute best friend, Lauren Stripling. They dated for five years and married on the 21st of April, 2018.

McClellan was a connector of all people and he truly never met a stranger. Anyone that has ever had the pleasure of knowing him knows his heart of gold and thoughtfulness. He especially loved his family and never missed a chance to let them know it. There are many family memories spent on his beloved Lake Blackshear where he was always happy. If you knew McClellan, you know he loved the Georgia Bulldogs with a passion, and always enjoyed having fun with all of his friends on the golf course. A special place in his heart was reserved for his beautiful animals Callie, Iggy and Pascal. Above all, there aren’t enough words to describe his joy and pride to be a dad to his baby boy, Thomas Patrick. McClellan’s adoration and love for Lauren was incredible. Lauren and Thomas Patrick were truly the light of his life.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Trinity Baptist Church, 201 12th Avenue SE, Moultrie, GA, at 11 am. Reverend Nick Dawson and Reverend Carl Tolbert will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Weston Gittens, Buster Elkins, John Thomas Rust, Taylor Chambers, Brian Berl, and John Michael Harrison.

The family will receive friends and family at Baker Funeral Home on Sunday, April 7th, from 3-5 pm.

A private family interment will follow the service at Westview Cemetery.
The family requested memorials be made to Colquitt Humane Society at 1412 1st St NE, Moultrie, GA 31768, and the Breathe Organization at P.O. BOX 2995, Moultrie, GA 31776.
