She was born on September 2, 1955, in Bloomington, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Roland Duane Armour and Grace Elaine Wilson Armour.
Pamela had a special place in her heart for St. George Island, where she found peace and joy by the water. A talented writer and storyteller, she wrote the play The Ideal Roommate, which was performed at The Arts Center of Moultrie, a proud moment that reflected her artistic spirit and passion for community theater.
Above all, Pamela was devoted to her family. She took great pride in them and found her greatest joy in being a mother to her beloved son, and Gommie to her three grandsons, whom she loved deeply.
Pamela’s kindness, humor, and creativity touched everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her love of life, and the lasting mark she left on her family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Brandt Sims and wife Alicia of Moultrie; grandchildren, Harrison, Noah and Andrew Sims; and sister, Cynthia Smith and husband Marc.
Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home and Crematory.
