Nellie Gunn Martin MOULTRIE Nellie Gunn Martin, 91, of Moultrie, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Tifton. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 19, at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Born July 29, 1921, in Quitman, she was the daughter of the late James Wesley Gunn and Mary Ellen Abbit Gunn. She was a farmworker and was a member of Schley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Turner Wilson Martin; daughters, Rosie Patterson, Eddie Martin, Linda Martin and Joe Martin; and seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include grandchildren, Walter Patterson and wife Shannon of Mobile, Ala., Nellie Pate and husband Thomas of Moultrie, Terie Truett and husband Ray of Thomasville, Mickey McCoy of Moultrie, Steve Patterson of Pavo; 19 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
