Nadine Tillman Marchant

Nadine Tillman Marchant, 88, of Moultrie, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 3, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Charles T. Johnson and Mr. Richard Marchant officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Garden. David Marchant, Jake Marchant, Christopher Runyan, Larry Walker, Darrell Walker, and Richard Marchant will serve as pallbearers. PeeWee Marchant will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Born on June 3, 1935, in Colquitt County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Richard Jessie Tillman and Pauline Twiggs Tillman. She retired as a civil service clerk after 35 years and also worked part-time with Sears for 25 years. Mrs. Marchant was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Grady Lee Tillman; and son, Jessie Lee Marchant.
Mrs. Marchant is survived by her husband of 71 years, Davy Lee Marchant of Moultrie; sons, Richard Davy Marchant and wife Phyllis of Brooks, Ga, and Danny Marchant of Moultrie; Daughters, Paula L. Runyan of Brooks, Ga, and Regina L. Marchant of Norman Park; grandchildren, Kimberly Munoz Johnson, Christopher Runyan, David Marchant, Jake Marchant, Brianna Marchant, Shane Marchant, Jessica Marchant, and Jennifer Marchant; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Sunday, July 2, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
