Monica Leigh Medina Garcia,42, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 8, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Juan Garcia, Justin Hall, Kevin Gaddy, Kyle Bell, Parker Pope, and Johnathan Hall will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Hopewell Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Born on May 9, 1981, in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of Jose Medina and the late Kathy Milam Medina. She worked at Angels Among Us as a medical assistant and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Medina; sister, Amy Medina; and stepmother, Gale Medina.
She is survived by her husband, Jason Garcia of Moultrie; father, Jose Medina of LaFayette; aunts and uncles, Paula McMillan, Donna Milam Hall, Stevie Milam, Jr., and Randy Milam all of Moultrie; her favorite cousin, Jennifer Melton; and her fur babies; Layla Bell and Squeakers.
