Melissa Swymer

Melissa Ann Johnson Swymer, 50, of Pavo, died Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Archbold Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Lebanon Cemetery in Pavo with Rev. Greg Player officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 16, 2021 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
Born on September 28, 1970, in Thomasville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Donald William Johnson and Mary Jo Boyd Kilgore. She retired from Publix after 15 years then later worked for Badcock Furniture.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Douglas Kilgore.
Mrs. Swymer is survived by her husband, Daniel Swymer, Sr. of Pavo; sons, Daniel Swymer, Jr., and wife Paige of Pavo, Stephen Swymer and wife Leah of Coolidge; sister, Regina Parker of Thomasville; grandchildren, Raven Swymer, Jedidiah Swymer, and Micah Swymer; nephews, Fred Sanders, Jr. and Samantha Brown, Christopher Sanders and Leah Morris, and Joshua Sanders and wife Kayla.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
