Melanie O. Teifer

Melanie O’Coine Teifer, 72, of Moultrie, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 3, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Wise, Logan Wheeler, Patrick Gallagher, Nic Gallagher, Brad Wheeler, and Trent Wilson.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Born on May 6, 1951, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Marshall O’Coine and Mary Strange Gallagher. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Teifer.
Mrs. Teifer is survived by her sons, Marc Eure and wife Ashley, Matt Eure and fiancée Chasta Lagle; daughter, Wendy Eure Wheeler and husband Brad; sister, Jennifer Gallagher; grandchildren, Logan Wheeler, Sydney Wheeler and fiancé Will Bush, Allie Eure, Ansley Eure, Amelia Eure, Daylee Eure, Laigan Lagle, MaLeigh Lagle, and Bricelyn Sloan; and nephews, Nic Gallagher and wife Ashleigh, and Patrick Gallagher and wife Courtney.
The family will gather at the home of Marc Eure 315 Gene McQueen Road Moultrie, Georgia 31788.
