Mary Young

Mary Elizabeth Edwards Young, 66, of Norman Park, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Julian Griner officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Born on April 28, 1957, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Berney Edwards and Mary Agnes McCorvey Edwards. Mrs. Young worked in customer service at Enmark and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joann Edwards Fraizer; and brothers, Franklin Edwards, and Bernie Allen Edwards.
Mrs. Young is survived by her son, Eric Young and wife Lisa of Norman Park; daughters, BJ Wright and husband Billy Joe, Stephanie McMurphy, Melissa Hopper and fiancé Bryan Vickers, Karen Hill, and Brandie Young; grandchildren, Rocky Hancock III, Dexter Hopper, Skylar Hopper, Ac McMurphy, Blaze Young, Shyanna Young, Kayte Young, Kayee Ansley, Ava Hill, Emily Wright, Victoria Wright, Esmeralda Lopez, and Dakota Smith; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Cecil Edwards, and Tony Edwards; sister, LaVerne Edwards Tillman; and special niece, Ranee Barahana
