Mary Elizabeth Tucker Harrell, 78, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Pruitt Health Magnolia Manor.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 26, 2026, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Elder Lamar Burkett and Reverend Stanley Norman officiating. Eric York, Ross York, Steven Harrell, Tyler Harrell, Jerry York, Al York, and Paul York will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
Born on January 23, 1948, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of Johnnie York Blanton and the late Alfred York, Sr. Mrs. Harrell was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She attended college and had a creative spirit, especially when it came to sewing. She enjoyed making beautiful pillows, curtains, and quilts, many of which became treasured gifts for those she loved. Above all, she cherished her family and the time spent with them. Mrs. Harrell was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her stepfather, C.A. Blanton; her grandson, Tucker Evan Doss; and her step-granddaughter, Rebecca Johnson.
Mrs. Harrell is survived by her husband, Gene Harrell of Moultrie; her daughter, Michelle Elizabeth Doss and husband Chip of Duluth; her stepchildren, Steven Harrell and wife Amy, Michael Harrell, Mary Ellen Johnson and husband Daniel, and Susan Cowan; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Doss, Blaire Camille Doss, Ryan Doss, Nathan Harrell, Tyler Harrell, and Emily Harrell; her step-grandchildren, Jacquline Johnson, Brice Cowan, and Lauren Cowan; her brothers, Jerry York and wife Shirley, Al York and wife Kim, and Paul York and wife Pam; her nieces and nephews, Ross, Eric, Jason, Aaron, Kevin, Alyssa, and Ryan.
