Mary Louise Skipper

Mary Louise Giles Skipper, of Berlin, GA, passed away Monday, October 25, 2021, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021at Sardis Church Cemetery in Colquitt County with Dr. Howard G. Burke officiating.
Mrs. Skipper was born on November 12, 1929, in Barrett, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Flossie Giles. She was a member of a China Grove Baptist Church, a faithful servant of the Lord, an active member of her community, and an avid gardener. She was proceeded in death by her late husband, Virgil R. Skipper; son, V. Eugene Skipper; sisters, Aveta Himschoot, Doretha Walden; brother, James Giles; along with three infant siblings. Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Louise Burke and husband Howard Burke of Moultrie; grandchildren, Sandra Burke Chason and husband Gil of Tallahassee, Cynthia Shelia Bennett and husband Marty of Omega, and Stacey Joann Norris and husband Rob of Tucson, Arizona; along with ten great-grandchildren, Christina Rowell, Victoria Rowell, Jacob Bennett (Alexandra), Jillian Bennett, Samantha Bennett, Mallorie Chason, Mark Norris, Luke Norris, Rebecca Norris, and James Norris; sister, Martha Horne of Berlin; and many niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and food, and to honor her love for the lord, the family request that donations be made to The Gideons International.
