Mary Wolinski Powell

Mary Wolinski Powell, 80, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Legacy Village.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Friday, August 7, 2026 in the Langdale Chapel at First Baptist Church, Valdosta, Georgia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.

Born on March 14, 1946, in Valdosta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Mable Jones Wolinski and Harry Wolinski. Mrs. Powell was a homemaker and a life time member of First Baptist Church, Valdosta.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alexander Powell, III and her brother, John Gregory Wolinski.

Mrs. Powell is survived by her sons, Charles Alexander Powell IV of Valdosta and Harrison Andrew Powell and wife, Dani of Hahira; daughter, Jennifer Smith and husband Ron of Macon; grandchildren, Lucas Powell, Drew Powell, Grace Powell, Daniel Powell, Christopher Johnson, Jr. and wife, Sara, Bradley Johnson and wife, Hannah, Alex Johnson, Allison Johnson Tucker and husband, Cody; great-grandchildren, Magnolia Suzanne Tucker, and Cameron Taylor Johnson.
