Mary Christine Lamb Lewis

Mary Christine Lamb Lewis, 91, of Moultrie, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Senior Health Care.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, with Rev. Shane Smith officiating. The eulogy will be given by her grandson, John Stephenson. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held one hour before the service in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
Born on May 8, 1931, in Tifton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lamb and Mary Lizzy Watson Lamb. Mrs. Lewis was an entrepreneur/ restaurant owner. The Quail, Chris’ Diner, Anchorage Restaurant, and The Gally were just of few of her restaurants over the years. She was a member of Lakeside Assembly of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Henry Albert Lewis; son, Danny Lee Lewis and wife Virginia Lewis; daughter, Barbara Gail Lewis Wynn; grandson, Casey Lewis; brothers, J.L. “Joe” Lamb, Noah Lamb, Millard Lamb, Roy Lamb, Floyd Lamb, Joe Henry Lamb, and Bill Lamb, Jr; and sisters, Gertrude Renew; sister-in-law, Katie Lamb.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her daughters, Vickie Carol Lewis Jenkins and husband Tommy of Moultrie, and Lorie Katherine Lewis Stephenson and Steve E. Sanders of Live Oak, Fl; son-in-law, James Wynn of Pensacola, FL; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Butch Lamb and wife Peggy of Tifton and Larry Joe Lamb of Florida; and sisters, Geneva Lamb Stringfellow and husband Bobby of Florida, Jenny Bassett and husband Joe of Tifton, and Mitzi Lamb Damron of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
