Mary J. Johnson

Mary Jane Wilson Johnson, 82, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home from 5 pm- 7 pm.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 23, 2022, in the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Michael Johnson, Terry Wilson, Edward Bragg, Jody Johnson, and Don Bragg will serve as pallbearers.
Born on November 15, 1940, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Elsie Marie Holloway Wilson. She was a homemaker and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Obie Gene Johnson; brothers, Robert Wilson, and Curtis Wilson; and sister, Peggy Hall.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Marcus Johnson of Moultrie; daughter, Tammy Johnson of Moultrie; grandchildren, Kimberly Johnson Walker and husband Keith, Corrine Ward and husband Brandon, and Aaron Johnson and wife Amy; great-grandchildren, Kayson Walker, Kolton Walker, and Trudie Johnson; and several other nieces and nephews.
