Mary Hunt Hart

Mary Hunt Hart, 95, of Pavo, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Hart and Rev. Darrell Owens officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Born on May 11, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George B. Hunt and Clara McCoy Hunt. She worked as a seamstress for 13 years with Warner Bros. Sewing Co and then retired from Riverside after 17 years. She was a dedicated member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne A. Hart; sister, June Owens; and nieces, Kathy Barnes and Patty Bowers.
Mrs. Hart is survived by her loving children, Larry W. Hart of Pavo and Gwen Hart Parker and husband David of California; grandchildren, John Pluta, Douglas Pluta and wife Oralia, all of California; great grandchildren, Carlos and Nikhol Pluta; step grandchildren, Mike Parker and Jeff Parker of California; step grandchildren, Sierra, Bryce, Veronica, and Christopher Parker; nephews, David Owens and Rev. Darrell Owens.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
