Mary Ethel Faircloth

Mary Ethel Gaddis Faircloth, 75, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, July 3, 2026, at Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Mr. Joe Faircloth officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born on November 30, 1950, in Bainbridge, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph Gaddis and Clarsey Estelle Glover Gaddis. Mary spent many years working as a cashier at several local stores before retiring. She enjoyed meeting people and was known for her friendly smile and kind nature. A woman of the Holiness faith, her trust in the Lord was an important part of her life and guided her through the years.

Above all else, Mary cherished her family. She loved her children wholeheartedly, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her grandchildren. The moments they shared and the memories they made together were among her greatest blessings. She will be remembered for her love, gentle spirit, and the devotion she showed to those she held dear.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerald Gaddis, Thomas Robert Gaddis, and Harold Eugene Gaddis; and sister, Gloria Gaynell Cook.

Ms. Faircloth is survived by her children, Raymond Moore of Fitzgerald, Nicole Clayton and husband Andy of Moultrie, Joe Faircloth and wife Jessica of Fitzgerald; her chosen daughter, Regina Garcia of Moultrie; grandchildren, Andrew Clayton, Jr., Zachary Clayton, Michael Faircloth, Hannah Faircloth, Sammy Wilson, Timothy Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Marie Altman, Seirra Altman, and Dazey Altman; and brother, Roger Gaddis and wife Volia Ruth of Mississippi.
