Martha Caroline Tillman

Martha Caroline Motes Tillman, 83, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at The Presbyterian Home in Quitman.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at China Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Jackie Cabaniss officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. 

Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service time.

Born on January 23, 1941, in Elberton, Georgia, to the late Paul Motes and Phoebe Ruth Dickerson Motes. Mrs. Tillman was a homemaker and was a member of China Grove Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hansel L. Tillman

Mrs. Tillman is survived by her sons, Jeff Lunceford of Adel and Jason Tillman and wife Tammy of Valdosta; grandchildren, Shawn Lunceford, Sarah Lunceford, Brittany Baker and husband Scott, and Chason Tillman and wife Kirsten; great-grandchildren, Alli Kate Baker, Adalyn Baker, and baby Michael Tillman; sisters, Linda Faye Faulkner and husband Hansel of Venice Beach, Florida, and Judy Annette Everingham and husband Steve of Dixie, Georgia.
