Martha Gay Cousins Rogers

Martha Gay Cousins Rogers, 84, of Moultrie, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at her home.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home on Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Born on June 1, 1937, in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Herbert Cousins and Irene Gilley Cousins. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was also a founding member of Heritage Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Tyler Rogers.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her loving husband, Thomas A. Rogers, Sr. of Moultrie; son, Thomas A. Rogers, Jr. and wife Regina of Funston; grandchildren, John Tyler Rogers, II, McKenzie Rogers, Katie Baker, Jill Carter, Jennah Warrick, and Clarissa Marie Rogers; and 9 great-grandchildren.
