Martha Hall Morrell

Martha Hall Morrell, 80, of Omega, passed away, on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Born on May 28, 1942, in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late William Edgar Hall and Samantha Gay Hall. She was a seamstress supervisor for Riverside Manufacturing Company and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Mrs. Morrell is survived by her children, Martha Lorene Walters and husband Bill of Omega, James Gerald Hartsfield and wife Linda of Green Cove Springs, Florida, Debra Lynn Brooks and husband Ken of Sylvester, and Jason Walter Hartsfield and wife Alicia of Norman Park; grandchildren, B.J Willis and wife Carey, Bobby Joe Dorsey and wife Jennifer, Stephanie Chappell and husband Donnie, William Walters, Madison Brady and husband Jeff, Tanner Hartsfield, and Hannah Hartsfield; great-grandchildren, Austin Willis, Gage Dorsey, Seth Dorsey, Sophie Chappell, Gracey Willis, Heather Walters, Jeffrey James Brady, Ryder Brooks, Azlynn Brooks, Cardin Sims, and Bryson Sims.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Hartsfield; and 7 brothers, and sisters.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles, and Rev. Dudley Cook officiating. B.J. Willis, Bobby Joe Dorsey, William Walters, Tanner Hartsfield, Donnie Chappell, and Jeff Brady will serve as pallbearers. Daryl Hall, Jamie Morrell, Randy Justice, Bobbie Patnaude, Linda Hall, and PeeWee Braswell will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow at Paulk’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before the service from 2:00 – 3:00 PM in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
