Mark Tillman

Mark Dale Tillman, 66, of Moultrie, died on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hopewell Church Cemetery with Derrick Tillman, Lavon Stripling, Robert Tillman, Irvin Tillman, and Gene James serving as pallbearers.

Born on April 9, 1954 in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Jonah Lee Tillman, Jr., and Doris Elizabeth Stripling Tillman. He was a farmer and was of the Catholic Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lynn Tillman; and sister, Amelia Tillman.

Mr. Tillman is survived by his wife, Martha Vega Tillman of Moultrie; daughters, Abby Tillman of Moultrie, and Jenna Tillman of Valdosta; sister, Cornelia Tillman Kent of Moultrie; and nephew, Derrick Tillman and wife Julie of Moultrie.
