Margaret N. Cooper

Margaret Ann Nicholson Cooper, 77, of Ellenton, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Weeks Chapel Church Cemetery. Travis Cooper, Jeff Cooper, Mitch Nicholson, Dylan Cole, and Nicholas Cole, and Carol Nicholson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Born on February 15, 1947, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Hall Nathaniel Nicholson and Jessie Mae Weeks Nicholson. Mrs. Cooper was a retired seamstress from Doerun Sportswear and was a member of Weeks Chapel Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dan Nicholson; and sister, Patsy Nicholson Pruett.

Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband, Billy Cooper of Ellenton; sons, Travis Cooper and wife Luz of Ellenton, and Jeff Cooper and wife Hannah of Moultrie; daughter, Julie Robinson and husband Bradley of Pavo; grandchildren, Landon Cooper, Megan Robinson, and Austin Robinson; brother, Ray Nicholson and wife Mary Jane of Norman Park; and several nieces and nephews.
