Mallie Gene Norman Jr.

Mallie Gene Norman, Jr.,84, of Moultrie, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at South Georgia Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Voyles and Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating. Ed Norman, Jr., Robin Norman, Bob Hart, Rod Howell, Billy Howell, Ray Pierce, Don Hart, Jay Norman, and Brett Howell will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Born September 4, 1936, in Moultrie, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mallie N. Norman and Ida Beatrice Connell Norman. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Merle Norman Howell; and brothers, Carroll Dean Norman, and J.S. Norman.
Mr. Norman is survived by his wife, Linda Bruce Norman of Moultrie; sons, Tony Norman of Moultrie, and David Norman and wife Selena of Moultrie; daughters, Sharon Norman Culpepper of Warner Robins and fiancé Rodney Baker, Lori Norman Clements and husband Rick of Moultrie, and Angie Norman Hall of Moultrie; sisters, Larue Norman Nelson of Valdosta, and Elmyra Norman Hart and husband Donald of Moultrie; grandchildren, Kimberly Norman, Ivey Baker, Wyatt Baker, Clay Clements, Seth Norman, Erin Norman, Layne Norman, and Braxton Hall; and great-grandchildren, Landon Norman, Luke Norman, Aubree Clements, and Cannon Clements.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, August 12, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
