Lyonel Forrest Carter

Lyonel Forrest Carter, 65, of Moultrie, died Friday, September 28, 2018 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Reverend Shannon Patterson officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Casketbearers will be Drew Patterson, Lonnie Carter, Mitchell Couch, Chad O'Neal, Aaron Willis, and Van Hortman.
Born on September 28, 1953, in Moultrie, he was the son the late Clinton Lamar Carter and Mary Elizabeth Causey Carter. He was a retired maintenance supervisor and of Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife Joyce LaTrelle Hatchett Carter; son, Clinton M. Carter and fiancée Madison Couch of Jacksonville, FL; daughter Laura Elizabeth Carter Crook and husband Andrew of Thomasville; grandchildren, Natalie Crook and Aiden Crook; brother, Lonnie Carter and wife Mikki of Tifton; and sister, Pamella Carter Simpson and husband Clayton of Alaska.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
